Open Sail RSVP
Our Open Sails are getting busier which is great. But with more participation, we need more coordination on who is coming so the hosts can manage boat assignments, guests, releases, etc.
Use the form here to RSVP.
Some key points to remember
If you don’t RSVP you can still come out for open sail, but those who RSVP will have priority for available boats or crew positions.
You can only skipper a boat you are checked out on. Refer to the member guide for requirements if you are not sure.
Make sure you have completed a release this season.
Please arrive to A dock at or before start time, we aim to tow out 30 minutes after start time.
If you have questions send them in advance to programdirector@seasailing.org and they will answered or forwarded to the current host.
If you are bringing guests be sure they complete a release form and that you or they purchase a guest pass.

Maintenance Seminars
We occasionally offer seminars on boat maintenance to members. These seminars are taught by members who have sailboat maintenance experience and are interested in offering their knowledge to our community.
Whenever possible we try to incorporate hands-on elements using our own fleet so we can both give people a chance to try out new skills and also use these seminars as an opportunity to take care of some of our own maintenance needs.
When available we invite you to join us for a fun skill-building experience.

Liability statement for community sailing events with non-SEA boats
Sailing Education Adventures (SEA) occasionally helps to facilitate community sailing events and informal gatherings as part of our mission to support and grow the local sailing community.
At these events, participants may sail privately owned vessels or non-SEA boats. At such events, SEA does not provide insurance coverage or assume liability for any activities involving non-SEA boats. Individuals who choose to participate in such activities do so at their own risk and discretion.
SEA is not the formal host or sponsor of these community gatherings and does not supervise or manage the use or condition of any non-SEA vessels. We encourage all participants to exercise good judgment and follow standard safety practices when on the water.
If any participant wishes to sail in an SEA-owned boat during one of these events, they must complete a current SEA Release of Liability and Medical Information Form (or must have submitted one within the past year). Participation in SEA boats is not permitted without a completed form on file.
Thank you for helping us keep community sailing safe, enjoyable, and clearly defined.
