Mini Camp- Introductory
Location: Loch Lomond Marina 110 Loch Lomond Dr, Dock A behind Andy's grocery store next to Loch Lomond Yacht Club
Hours: 9 am- 12:30 pm, Monday - Friday, 1 week sessions

Intro Mini Camp Session 1: June 17- 21
Intro Mini Camp Session 2: July 1-5
Intro Mini Camp Session 3: July 15- 19
Half-day (9 am- 12:30 pm) sessions. Younger students develop both confidence and competence benefiting from the milder breeze of the mornings to lean fundamental sailing concepts such as water safety, wind awareness, and sailing techniques. Trained counselors provide direct instruction in the boats as students alternate roles, steering and managing the sails, Mini Camp utilizes our sloop-rigged, 16.5-foot Catalinas. Ages 8-10. *
* Note: 8-10 year olds may not enroll in Basic / Intermediate camps. Children aged 10 who have completed one full week of Mini Camp are eligible to enroll in Basic/Intermediate camp at the discretion of the Head Counselor.
Mini Camp- Advanced

Advanced Mini Camp Session 1: Jul 29 - Aug 2
Advanced Mini Camp Session 2: Aug 5 -9
Full day (9 am- 4 pm) For returning Mini Campers who have participated in Mini Camp in previous years but may still be too young to move into the full Basic/Intermediate Sail Camp sessions. Building upon students existing skills and confidence , students gain experience by sailing in the more challenging afternoon winds of this full day camp. Advanced Mini Camp prepares students for Basic Sail Camp by teaching students self-confidence and problem-solving skills while refining their sailing technique. Youths are taught in our sloop-rigged, 16.5-foot Catalinas by our experienced staff. Ages 8-10*.
