Summer Camp Is A Go!
It’s officially summer camp season! Camps are in full swing at Loch Lomond Marina and Marin Yacht Club. We have a few spaces left in some camps if you or someone you know is looking to enroll future sailors.
Sailing in his classic Bear Boat Sugarfoot, Member Nick Kolaitis was joined by board members Kif Scheuer and Kurt Sund for the 2026 Master Mariners Regatta on 5/23.
A day of big winds, strong waves, and a broken vang didn’t deter Sugarfoot and her eager crew who placed 3rd in the Bear Boat class. Nice job!
Congratulations to Youth Counselor Maddy Janzen for passing her US Sailing Level 1 Certification! She joins the growing community of qualified and dedicated instructors leading our programs. Great job Maddy!
We’re excited to announce that SEA has won a REACH grant from US Sailing. This grant will help provide financial support for staff education and certifications, program materials, and scholarship for youth to participate in our classes.
Performing Stars of Marin sailed with us on 5/30. With beautiful weather and wind, lunch on the water, and a visit from a friendly pelican… it was a successful class!
Spring cleaning has been in full swing. Program Director Ainsley Parramore has been doing lot’s of preparation for summer camp. This includes new picnic tables and sunshades for all to enjoy!
