Join SEA for this annual event. Free Mini Sailing Lessons taking place! Meet the SEA staff, sail the boats, and get boating safety information.

SEA and Loch Lomond Yacht Club invite you to join us April 11 for a special event as Peter Buettner and Jana Olias share their epic 8,000 mile cruising journey.

  • 530-7pm happy hour (with optional tour of SV Kranich)

  • 7-8pm presentation.

Attendance is free and anyone is welcome. Appetizers are $10/per person and a cash bar will be open.

We have just added four small boat beginning sailing classes to the calendar (May - August). Each class is 4 sessions over three weeks taught in our 16.5’ Catalinas.

Recent Member Events

Host Training

On February 23rd, Kif and Doug held a training session for new Open Sail Hosts. We had 6 members come down to Loch Lomond Marina for five hours to learn how to run a safe, fun open sail. Keep your eyes out for some new faces at upcoming open sails.

Boat Shopping

On March 8th, Doug, Jose, and Kif took a field trip to Newport Beach to check out some Harbor 20s. We are looking for new training boats for adult classes and keelboats for member day sailing. We all liked what we saw and hope you will get to meet our new Harbor 20 “Bula” in April.
