Meet Our New Program Director: Ainsley Parramore

After an extensive search with multiple outstanding candidates, we are thrilled to welcome Ainsley Parramore as SEA’s incoming full-time Program Director! Ainsley brings a remarkable blend of competitive sailing, program leadership, and youth development expertise. Her background includes:

Competitive and leadership honors at Eckerd College
Assistant coaching that helped her team qualify for nationals
Youth program leadership at Edgartown Yacht Club
Program coordination at Peninsula Youth Sailing Foundation
A clear passion for creating welcoming, fun, and high-quality sailing experiences for all ages

Ainsley steps into the role in January and will lead efforts to:

Strengthen and expand summer camps
Build a more robust year-round program calendar
Partner with schools and community organizations
Ensure SEA maintains affordable, accessible programs for the whole community

Last year’s camps filled quickly—many sessions sold out within days. With Ainsley’s leadership, 2026 camps will feature refreshed curriculum, stronger youth leadership pathways, and more ways for young sailors to progress through SEA’s programs.
